You ever got annoyed when you insert an CD or plug-in USB Drive and  a window pops-up. Well Today its your lucky day and I  liken to show you how easy it is to disable the AutoPlay  Feature of Audio CD’s and USB drives.

Please  follow the 3 steps below to disable the AutoPlay Feature In  Windows XP.

(1) To get to the configuration screen for this setting, go to Start Menu Run and type in:
gpedit.msc
You will see the Group Policy window. You should select Administrative Templates System in the tree view:

(2) You will see an item in the right side pane called “Turn off AutoPlay

(3) Double click the item, and set the radio button to Enabled, and change the “Turn off AutoPlay on” to All Drives.

that’s It! now you should be safe from the AutoPlay Feature in Windows XP.
